It is with deepest regret we have to inform your of the passing of one of longest serving EGG's. Roy Pithey passed away on Sunday morning at home. While not unexpected, it was still a shock.
Roy joined the EGG's in 1998 and was an active member until he fell ill in 2017.
He and Nick Cameron orgainsed the first EGG's tour in 2002. Roy was Head Egg in 2005/6 and won the Robert Ficken Trophy in Plettenberg Bay in 2013.
Our thoughts are with Angela and the Pithey family

The Erinvale Gentlemans Golfing Society (the EGGS) is a group of about thirty like minded members of the Erinvale Golf Club who meet and play every Monday weather permitting. Members may bring guests to play but membership is by invitation only.

Having signed in, the Head Egg makes a draw and announces what the days competition will be. After playing, the members get together in the downstairs lounge of the Clubhouse and enjoy an after golf drink or two. Generally a prize giving will be held conducted by the Head EGG.
